OBJECTIVE of the LTAS! PROJECT
To drastically reduce these statistics through awareness and education:

Why LTAS was created
Let's Talk About Sex was created based on the vision of a healthier and happier life for everyone. India's high population growth and AIDS/HIV epidemic is heavily due to the general public's lack of education about their own bodies. This can be from contraceptives to how someone can become pregnant. All of these topics and much, much more can help more people understand and accept themselves for who they are. This program's vision is to be available to most age groups everywhere and for every single developmentally ready human on planet Earth. We'll start with India first. LTAS is the creation of a mother, Shannon Sirur, who didn't know enough to answer all the questions her children had about sex and their bodies. She wanted the best education for her children. She realized as she did more research that other parents felt the same way; in need of guidance and trustworthy information not only for their kids but also for themselves.
Where we are today
With full a year of successful programs and many, many focus groups, LTAS is making strides in bringing quality education to its participants. The project is developing upto 5 programs, all tailored to include people from different walks of life and deliver education fit for the program's age group. Having completed 3 programs, LTAS looks outwards and towards the future. The project hopes to continue working on all its programs to educate the population as it ages.
What is to come
LTAS hopes to include more communities and expand on the ones we already talk about by bringing in more people to represent them. We aim to reach all demographics and increase the languages in which these courses are available. We hope to finish developing our programs and send them out so that the scope of our project can widen. We can't wait to see how we can continue to fine-tune our programs to fit the participants as they grow and evolve as people.
